No stars here so POPPY'S ROSES (7) might well be too good. Eight-start maiden mare who as a three-year-old tackled the WA Oaks and Derby at her last two runs before a spell. This will be a shade short of her best trip but fitter for two trials and narrowly defeated the last time here in a figure which would win this. Will be storming home fresh. FORTGANG (10) is yet to break through in three runs but is fitter for two runs back and not beaten far when sixth over 7f at Belmont Park on September 2. Rates highly in this field and should be ready to hit top. WARDIKCAR (2) is another resuming and returns off a long spell but showed good ability in the two runs so far including a placing this course and distance last time. Has a big finish and looks hard to hold out fresh. FARNESSA (13) has ability and is sure to be improved over this longer trip. MOMOTARO (8) is going better than it looks and will be winding up late.
