Tricky race. TOSEN IMPACT (3) comes across to the west and debuts for the Ikenushi stable today. His trial coming into this was solid and he has placed first-up in the past. May need some luck from the tricky gate but a forward showing first-up is expected. VENUS KING (1) got a long way back first-up and never really got into the race. Out in trip now looks ideal and Brad Parnham hops on board having won aboard the gelding previously. He's a track and trip winner in the past and a much better effort is on the cards. LYN'S STAR (5) has been back to the trials since her last start over 1 ?m here 19 days ago. Can sit handy from the inside barrier and Cooper claims 4lbs. Can be there when it matters. ANNIE WARBUCKS (2) can improve third-up and out to a more suitable trip. LAKEVIEW LIGHTNING (4) is next best.
