MANTUA (1) missed over this course and distance last time out when flying gone from the rear of the field. He may be able to sit a little closer from the draw today and the figure he put up last start rates highly among this field. Knocking on the door of a drought breaking win. LEMMOR (5) was fresh last start at this track and trip when beaten 2.6L and she should land in a very good spot from the barrier. Should be at her peak fitness now and this looks a suitable race for her to shed the maiden tag. BLUE CAN TALK (3) just missed here fresh in a CL5 before a disappointing performance most recently in this grade. She can tend to dip second-up though and usually bounces back third-up into the campaign. Has the speed to cross from out wide and can turn in a bold performance. CLASSIC RULER (8) can play a role on resumption. TROPICAL SUN (6) is not out of this on recent efforts.
