HELL OF A TRIP (5) is back from a spell of five months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 6f at Ballarat Synthetic. Likely to take beating. VEGAMEISTER (6) finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in sixth last start over 5f at Townsville, an improvement on his first-up eighth at Townsville the run before. Finds a more suitable contest and can take this out. DALT JAZ (2) returns from a layoff of three-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 5f at this track. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with two minor placings. One to consider.
