ROYAL EDITION (2) turned in a sound effort last time but found a couple better at Townsville over 7f, beaten 0.7 lengths. That run should have him rock-hard fit now. Sure to go well. OCTOPOLIS (5) has raced twice. Was sixth on debut then clocked-in 3 lengths from the winner in third last time out over 5 ½f at Mackay. Blinkers added. Hard to beat. SAINT ANNS (4) finished second at Emerald two runs back but was less effective last time over 5 ½f at Longreach, finishing 9 lengths back in eighth. Faces an easier assignment so she is perfectly placed to score. ELEGANT VENUS (3) missed the placings on debut two runs back then was never in contention last start when 7 lengths away in tenth over 6f at Townsville. Won't find this as tough so she will be hard to beat.
