The race-day betting will be instructive with the debutants. ONE LAST RESORT (1) resumes off two Ascot placings and has been gelded. Just missed in a recent trial at this track and will be naturally improved. He sets a decent standard for the newcomers. COS I AM (5) debuts for the Pearce stable and has looked sharp at the trials. Was beaten a whisker at Lark Hill, the latest, and Chris Parnham sticks from that. Maps well, and a bold run is on the cards. Stablemate COOL AZA BULLET (4) presents off the same trial beaten 1.4L. May not have the fitness of the above, but can't be ruled out. LUMINOUS LIL (8) has looked good at the Lark Hill trials, and she also deserves a betting watch.
