Verdict

LADIES PRO (2) dipped second-up when beaten 1.7L but scored an impressive win fresh that suggested she was ready to take the next step. She ran her peak figure third-up last campaign when only 2.4L away in the G2 WA Guineas. Can explode now third-up and return to winning ways. LIKE CLOCKWORK (3) was very impressive on resumption when winning by 2.5L over 6f. Out to 7f doesn't look an issue with the way she finished off last start, though the wide alley is a query. Hard to knock her return effort though and can repeat the dose. SPELLBORN (4) beat Ladies Pro last start and looks a nice horse on the rise. The wide draw is an issue, but he did storm over the top to break his maiden and this track and trip two back. Can bring up the hat-trick. PEACEFUL RULER (1) is racing well and comes here off a freshen. Not to be discounted. GOD'S RAPTURE (6) can feature in the finish stepping back up to 7f.
