BUSTER'S BABE (8) sat handy but couldn't land the knockout blow despite having every chance in the run. Back to 5f here may hold the key, though the wide draw is a query. Despite the niggles, she looks to have plenty of quality from what we've seen publicly and she can get the job done. NISTIRITH (6) picked up from where she left off last campaign, finishing 0.6L away at Mt Barker. She's been given plenty of time to get over that effort and the form out of that race has been superb. Maps beautifully once again and can go one better this time. I'M A SOULMAN (1) may have just come to the end of his campaign last start when well below what we'd seen early in his prep. His recent trial suggests he's ready to fire on resumption and he can put his best foot forward. ROAMING AMERICA (5) gets Pike in the saddle after a recent trial win and he can make his presence felt. ESPRESSO TIME (3) will be better for the first-up run and can improve.
