WIN FOR BUSTER (3) flew home to just miss on debut before jumping a $1.50 favourite prior to the break where he had reached the end of his tether. His trial coming in was good and Pike hops in the saddle again for his return. Can return on a winning note. OSCARS NO GROUCH (4) stuck on strongly first-up over 5f at this track, beaten 3.2L. Getting out in trip now looks a good move and his form may have been franked in the opening race. Rates a leading contender. CAN'T CATCH ME (9) is knocking on the door of a maiden win, finishing 1.7L off the winner most recently at Bunbury. The inside draw is a big tick for her chances and the extra ½f doesn't look an issue. Can be in the finish once again. CLASSIC POETRY (8) has trialled nicely coming into this and can bounce back following a disappointing campaign last time in work. DIAMOND CHOUX (10) is better than she showed last time out and can return to form.
