Verdict

Small field to kick things off at Belmont, though it looks to pack some punch in the form of CINQUE STELLE (4). She was a dominant maiden winner on debut over this track and trip, sitting handy and blowing them away as a $1.45 chance. This looks to shape similarly and with Pike sticking, she's clearly the one to beat. KINGS COURT (1) has only ever raced in stronger company, tiring badly in his only run in the Placid Ark Prelude last time out. He's now with the Gangemi's and the claim of ZJP comes in handy. Can take up the running and be hard to run down if he's at his best. FINADO (3) was solid on resumption behind Cinque Stelle, leading the field up there before finishing 3.5L away. Fitter for that run and the softer gate suits. Can be in the finish once again. EARL IT IS (2) won't be far away. ANSANEE (5) rounds it out.
