Very weak contest. GYRA (4) first run for the new stable with a battling fourth over 6f at Gosford. Strips fitter and gets every chance in a winnable race. ALREADY BLUE (1) on the quick backup after showing good early speed before fading to finish last in a Super Maiden over 6f at Tamworth. Earlier runs were okay and ready to lift. ARABIAN MELODY (3) resumes from a very lengthy spell and now in the John Bannister stable. Fitted with the two trials and gets in light with Palmer's claim. Near side blinker off and gets her chance from the good barrier. FLYING TRUFFLES (8) Flying Artie filly from Tartufi on debut for the Cavanough stable. Ran third in her only trial over 5 ¼f at Beaudesert last June. Stays in the mix.
