Finds a fairly average race and no excuses today. LA MORRA (8) stalked the speed at her third run back with a determined Maiden win over 7 ½f at Kembla Grange. Can out stay this lot if she runs the trip. Respect. CALL ME SON (1) improving gelding who did a good job when shouldering the 130lbs to hold on and run third over 1 5/16m at Gosford. Close to his best and expected to go close. ROYSTON (6) went back from the outside gate and never handled the firm surface with a plugging eighth over 1m at Nowra.
