CARNEGIE HILL (1) raced up on the speed and had his chance only to be edged out in a Class 1 over 1 ?m at the Gold Coast last start. Better placed back to the mile and with 9lbs less after the claim he looks beautifully placed. Draws gate one so likely to enjoy a soft lead - ticks all round. GOLDEN MIKKI (2) settled last in a big field then made steady ground to clock in fifth last Saturday over 7f at the Gold Coast. Will appreciate the longer trip today. Obviously going well at home and this looks a winnable race. TRIPLE TIME (6) was very good first-up at Murwillumbah then struggled at Doomben more recently over this trip. Drops 3.5kgs and strips fitter so a much better run is on the cards. HARD AS BROK (4) caught the eye at the end of 7f at Gatton last start. Beaten less than a length over 1m at Eagle Farm at this stage last prep. Definite contender. Lightly raced mare SARAH'S SONNETS (7) impressed when last in work and can make a positive return.
