DON'T SAY DO (4) six-start Maiden ready to win second-up. Closed strongly first-up over the shorter trip with a game second over 5f at Warren. Nicely placed with the senior rider going aboard from the inside gate. ODAKA (5) resumes and shapes as the main danger after her good placing over 5 ½f at Hawkesbury last November. Trialled with a close-up third over 5f at Warren. Now in the Bob Howe yard and finds a suitable race. SMOKIN' GENIE (7) deep into the prep and closed well for a sound sixth over 6f at Warren. Senior rider goes on and can run a touch closer from the draw. ARGYLE SPRINGS (3) drifted back early and failed to get into the contest with a disappointing eighth at Dubbo over 5f. Buckley Sticks and capable of better.
