Verdict

I'M ZAC (9) has notched up two dirt track wins in a row, the latest scoring by 1.2 lengths at Longreach over 5 ½f three weeks ago. Hard to knock on recent form and is expected to go well again from the favourable draw. BOLD SMUGGLER (11) started at $6 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 4.5 lengths at Alpha over 6f. Well placed and there is no reason why he cannot find winning ways. TOKYO SINS (8) was a winner on dirt over 5f at Clermont two back then followed up with a minor placing, also on dirt, over 5f at Alpha more recently. John Rudd sticks in the saddle and is sure to be competitive. MAGICAL SLIPPER (2) was in a different class last time, sitting just off the speed before letting down impressively for a 5 length win at Roma over 6f. Record here is impressive with two wins from six starts. Solid claims on best form.
