SMASHING ROSIE (3) settled well back last start and wasn't disgraced when 4 lengths from the winner in sixth over 6 ½f at Mackay. Gets some weight off with the claim and draws the inside marble. Beautifully placed against this line-up and is sure to prove tough to beat. YOU KAY SQUEEZE (4) has progressed nicely in her last couple of runs. Finished second at Longreach two starts back then scored by 1.4 lengths as favourite last time out over 7f at Clermont. Meeting a tougher field but on current form she is right in contention. BETTA THAN PRESLEY (1) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by 1.75 lengths over 6f at Emerald. That continued the good form this campaign, with two wins from five runs. Solid top-three chance. The well-related ARMSTRONG BAY (7) (half to Listed winner and 2xG3 placed Inn Keeper) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish fourth, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 6 ?f at Emerald. One of the main contenders.
