Just two runners left in a race that has been hammered by scratchings but there doesn't look to be a lot between them so it sets up as in interesting match race. ESCAPE BEACH (9) comes off a sixth when resuming at Ipswich but will strip fitter for that hitout. The opponent is first up so it gives her the fitness edge and that may prove decisive. Her lone win came the only time she raced on a soft track. Happy to go her way. QUEEN OF LIGHT (1) makes her first appearance since January when she finished runner-up at Ipswich. May give away some fitness to her rival but she was readied with a city trial and that should have her ready to go.
