AU - Ascot - Race 9

AFIREOFGIDGEECOALS (1) won the Karrakatta before a narrow miss in the Sires' before the break. He's shown enough at the trials to suggest he's on song for his resuming effort and he maps to get every chance. Can resume on a winning note. COS I AM (10) is very untapped, flying late in both runs last campaign to score narrowly. Her trial form stood up at Bunbury on Wednesday and while she may get back from the draw, with a good tempo expected she can be swooping late. BIG RED ZOOM (7) sat outside the leader and ran away to score on debut, with his recent trial showing he hasn't gone backwards. Should be able to be handy from the outset and he can make the jump to this level. DAWN DANCER (4) has been racing through the winter and comes here race fit and in winning form. Not to be discounted. BOY CRUSH (5) can bounce back to form dropping to 5f.
