Verdict

HOT AND HIGH (7) is a very exciting filly on resumption, bolting in to win at Listed level prior to the break. She's moved well at the trials coming into this and Brad Parnham gets the steer today. Can sit just off the speed from the barrier and extend her winning run. NICCIANA (8) is another progressive type returning, finishing last campaign with a narrow victory as the race favourite here. Fitter for a recent trial and maps to get every chance for Martinan. He'll carry no weight after the claim and can pick up from where he left off. HORCRUX (2) is racing in good order but was probably unsuited when settling off the tempo last time out. CJP should be more prominent in the run this time and a better effort is on the cards if he can find the front. AWESOME BOY (5) can go one better third-up today as he continues to build into his campaign. THE CALABRESE (3) won impressively fresh and he can go on with the job.
