LATER ALLIGATOR (6) finished off impressively behind a smart one last time out, ending up 1.3L off the winner. The rise to the mile looks ideal now and the form out of his last start has been franked. Maps to be a touch closer in the run this time and he can get back to winning ways. THE SPRUIKER (9) finished 2L off the winner last time out at this trip at Pinjarra and the form out of that race has stood up. His record here is a little query, though he maps to get plenty of favours here and he rates highly on his recent performances. NOBLE CONNECTION (1) was a little plain on resumption though this presents as a good opportunity for improvement. He's down in grade now and he is a second-up winner in the past. Nottle's claim comes in handy and he can make her presence felt. GINGER AND TONIC (11) is some query at this trip but she drops in weight and her recent form stacks up. FIFTH ESSENCE (2) stuck on well off a short freshen last time out and has claims.
