ROSTISLAV (3) tackled the Placid Ark and the Prelude after a bold run over this course and distance fresh in the Max Simmonds. Getting back to 5f looks a good move and McGruddy hops back aboard. His run in the Simmonds rates highly and a return to that form would see him hard to hold out. STORM AWAY (6) sat on the speed as an odds-on pop 24 days ago and got the job done in Maiden company. He'd been tested in Stakes company prior and wasn't far behind Rostislav in the Simmonds. Blinkers go on now, he draws well and a forward showing is anticipated. PAINT IT RED (4) gets Chris Parnham in the irons, replacing the apprentice hoop, as well as the winkers on first time. She's better than we saw last time out when back in grade.
