SNOW GOD (3) disappointed to end last campaign in stronger company, though he did jump a $1.65 there highlighting his ability. He's trialled strongly coming into this and Pike hopping on board is a big push for his chances. He's a nice gelding on the rise and he can return on a winning note. EXCESS BAGGAGE (9) flew home to score as a $1.60 favourite in a CL1 at Belmont last time out. This is tougher, but the winkers go back on as she drops down to 6f again. Brad Parnham takes the ride this time and she has to be included on her most recent performance. EARTH GOD (4) may need some luck from the draw, but he was sound in stronger company last start over this track and trip behind the in-form Haida Gwaii. That form reads well for a race like this and another forward showing is on the cards. PINGERS (7) can bounce back to form.
