ALMAS JEWEL (2) made an encouraging debut at Taree, finishing fifth over 6 ½f. She should take significant improvement from that experience and with the Archibald team hitting form at the right time, she looks a leading player with plenty of upside. FIRE ISLAND (3) is a stablemate of the top pick resuming from a spell, and she is capable of a bold run fresh up. Keep safe. MONEY ON MY MIND (5) ran a much better race for second at Toowoomba last start, and she can hold that form here. Include in all top 4 combos in a modest field. PURPLE PRINCE (8) remains a maiden after 24 starts but finished a solid fourth over 5f at Tuncurry after getting well back in the field last time out. If he gets away cleanly, he can be competitive and appeals as a value top 4 chance again. WINGEANDWIN (9) was below her best when sixth at Ipswich last time, and has since changed stables. She is worth some consideration, especially if there is any market confidence.
