FORTE CHEVAL (1) travelled in behind the leading division then drove hard late to just arrive in time in a similar race to this at Corowa a fortnight ago. Only goes up 0.5kgs today. Handles the heavy going so he looks ideally placed to make it two on the trot. DEMI GOD (4) came from last on the bend to finish sixth last time out over 6 ¼f at Canterbury. Untried in heavy conditions but this drop in grade and step up in distance should see him contesting the finish. BURNING ISSUES (10) called on all reserves to record a narrow win in a 6 ½f Wagga maiden recently. Coped with the heavy track that day. Lightly raced four-year-old who is open to further improvement. REGAL REGGIE (15) raced wide early then pushed forward and led before defying all challengers in a brave maiden win over this trip at Corowa last start. Has only raced four times so there should be more to come. RECKLESS BEHAVIOUR (7) is back from a long break. Showed ability in the maiden prep. Watch the betting.
