HIP HIP OLE (7) is the one to beat despite a last-start failure at Rosehill, with the return from Saturday company a major factor and her Wagga third two back giving the form a much cleaner look. The Rosehill run is easy enough to treat cautiously after she was bumped near the 1 ½f and eased down late, and her record around 7 ½f reads strongly. DEELING ACES (11) resumes from a six-month break with a useful Wangaratta jumpout behind her and brings a sharp Corowa BM58 win from last campaign. Rates highly on her form last campaign and is still a lightly raced commodity. GOLD TRACKER (8) has the confidence of a last-start win at this venue and solid local figures, though he has to repeat that form from a wider draw. ANNOTATE (4) was only fair at Swan Hill but returns to a proven trip after winning well at Tatura, making him a genuine danger if he settles into the race cleanly. STAR BLAZER (2) is next best.
