NEEDAWINNA (6) had a six-week let-up before her tiring ninth over this distance at Corowa last start. Won here over this distance in heavy going earlier in the prep. Fitter for that last run and from a good gate should be far more competitive this time. BRIAL ROSE (4) led and tried hard but her condition gave out late in the piece when resuming over this trip at Wagga 12 days ago. Drops in grade today and she is a strong second-up performer so this sets up very nicely. I'M AIRBORNE (5) hasn't won for over a year and recent efforts have been a bit patchy. Goes well in heavy conditions which he hasn't seen for a while. Well placed to play a major role. Mudlark THE BIG SHAMROCK (2) has not raced since September 2024. Has shown enough on the track leading into this to suggest he can run a bit of a race. Greybeard SWIFT HIT (3) will be better for this run but his performances at recent jump-outs have been encouraging.
