BELNERA (4) ended a long run of top three finishes when midfield over this distance at Corowa last start, although beaten only 2.3 lengths. Loves racing here, with four placings from as many visits. Great chance to break back into the winner's circle. LORD LIMERICK (1) has led for home and defied all challengers at his last two appearances, the latest in a similar race to this at Corowa. Has 61.5kgs to contend with on a heavy track but he is racing in great heart and should be right there at the business end again. STRATEGIC DEFENSE (8) wasn't beaten far in this grade two back then made late ground but was never a threat most recently in a BM66 over this course and distance. Cherry ripe after four runs back, draws a better gate, and is back in grade. A lot to like. JUST LIKE LIAM (11) has been racing well in 1 ¼m BM58 contests of late. Should race handy and give a good account. SWEET TREATS (3) has won two from four at the trip. One for the trifectas and first fours.
