Positional Breakdown

Forwards/Midfielders

Saturday's main slate features three big-six sides with Tottenham, Chelsea, and Manchester United in action. Chelsea will host Burnley, Tottenham will host Luton Town, and Manchester United will visit Brentford.

In an excellent matchup against Luton Town, Spurs are the largest favorite (-470) on the slate. On the road this season, Luton has allowed the most goals (34) and xG (34.7), per FBRef's xG model. For Spurs, Richarlison ($19, -110 anytime goal scoring odds), Son Heung-Min ($22, -115), James Maddison ($21, +130), and Dejan Kulusevski ($28, +220) are all set up for success this weekend.

Next up is Chelsea, who are the second-largest favorite on the slate (-370). The Blues continue to produce inconsistent results, but they have consistently found the back of the net with multiple goals in three of their last four EPL fixtures and at least one goal in their last 11. Burnley has zero clean sheets in their last 11 matches and have allowed 2.45 goals per match over that stretch. Nicolas Jackson ($20, +115), Cole Palmer ($22, +120), Raheem Sterling ($19, +150), and Conor Gallagher ($17, +310) are well positioned to capitalize.

After Chelsea, the next largest favorite is Aston Villa, who are hosting Wolves. Wolves have three wins in their last four matches but have allowed xG totals of 2.6 and 2.1 in their last two outings. Villa’s goal scoring has been solid at home this season -- they rank fourth in xG (29.9) and third in goals (35). They have lost three of their last four at home, though, and this could be a tricky fixture. Ollie Watkins ($22, +115), Moussa Diaby ($15, +210), and Leon Bailey ($17, +240) are still worth your consideration.

From the four remaining fixtures, Manchester United’s clash with Brentford stands out the most. United are slight road favorites coming off their upset victory over Liverpool in the FA Cup. United’s inconsistency makes trusting any of their stars difficult, but Rasmus Hojlund ($19, +170) and Marcus Rashford ($18, +185) have decent odds to score, and Alejandro Garnacho ($18, +250) and Bruno Fernandes ($23, +250) consistently put the ball on net. For the Bees, Ivan Toney ($20, +135) has the best odds to score in this match and can certainly find success against an inconsistent United defense.

Added time -- Some other midfield options to consider include Rodrigo Muniz ($20, +110 to score or assist), Andreas Pereira ($16, +130), Morgan Gibbs-White ($18, +155), Eberechi Eze ($21, +195), Dominic Solanke ($21, +100), Justin Kluivert ($14, +135), and Dwight McNeil ($17, +185).

Defenders

Our search for defenders also starts with the slate’s largest favorite. After a two-game absence due to injury, Pedro Porro ($15, +140 to score or assist) has picked up right where he left off for Tottenham. He has double-digit FanDuel points in all 25 of his EPL appearances this season thanks to his consistent involvement on both ends of the pitch.

For Fulham, Antonee Robinson ($15, +500) continues to impress. He has scored double-digit FanDuel points in 25 of 28 appearances this season, including his last 18 in a row. For Luton, Alfie Doughty ($13, +320) should be busy on both ends of the pitch. He left Luton’s last game early with an injury but should be available after a two-week break. The same can be said of Manchester United’s Diogo Dalot ($14, +470), who has double-digit FanDuel points in six of his last seven appearances and is averaging 16.7 FanDuel points per game this season.

As the two largest underdogs on the slate, defenders for both Luton and Burnley will be busy. Teden Mengi ($12) and Reece Burke ($12) will have plenty of defensive opportunities against Spurs attackers. For Burnley, Dara O’Shea ($12) and Maxime Esteve ($11) will have their hands full on the road against the Blues’ talented attack.

For the Bees, in what could be a back-and-forth game against United, Nathan Collins ($12) and Kristoffer Ajer ($13) could be very active. Ajer has scored at least 15.0 FanDuel points in five of his last six, and Collins has reached double-digit FanDuel points in three matches in a row.

Added time -- For GPPs, Chelsea's Axel Disasi ($11, +800) has decent odds to score for a defender and has totaled more than 29.0 FanDuel points in two of his last three matches, including 35.6 FanDuel points and a goal against Brentford.

Goalies

Spurs’ Guglielmo Vicario ($14) has the best win odds on the slate, followed by Chelsea's Djordje Petrovic ($13),Villa’s Emiliano Martinez ($12),and Fulham’s Bernd Leno ($12).

Of that group, Petrovic holds a slight edge in terms of odds to keep a clean sheet with Burnley at +100 to score no goals. Despite having better win odds, Vicario has just the second-best odds at keeping a clean sheet, with Luton at +140 to score no goals. Leno is in third with Sheffield at +165 to score no goals, followed by Martinez in fourth with Wolves listed at +180.

Of the three remaining favorites, Nottingham’s Matz Sels ($11) has the best odds of keeping a clean sheet, with Crystal Palace at +180 to score no goals. Next up is Bournemouth’s Neto ($11) as Everton are +220 to score no goals -- followed by Andre Onana ($11) for United, with Brentford are at +290 to score no goals.

For GPPs, Onana is worth considering. United have struggled against elite opposition in the past month but have kept clean sheets in two of their last three EPL games -- vs. Everton and Nottingham Forest. Onana has made several high-profile mistakes this season, but he has saved 4.0 goals over expectation, third-best among keepers in the EPL.

Added time – Nottingham Forest has scored just once in their last four EPL fixtures. Crystal Palace are road underdogs in this one, but Dean Henderson ($10) could find success on Saturday. He is expected to return to the starting lineup with Sam Johnstone sidelined with an elbow injury. Forest is listed at +270 to score no goals.
