Euro 2024 Odds: England Are the Favorites

The World Cup is coming to the USA in 2026, but before then, there are several major international tournaments to be played -- including UEFA Euro 2024 this summer.

Euro 2024 will kick off on June 14th in Germany and will run until July 14th, with 10 different venues hosting games.

Let's take a look at where the Euro 2024 odds stand, per the soccer odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Euro 2024 Odds

Here are the full Euro 2024 outright winner odds along with a breakdown of the main contenders.

England+300
France+380
Germany+500
Spain+800
Portugal+800
Belgium+1600
Netherlands+1600

England (+300)

Since our last update, England's odds to win Euro 2024 have shortened slightly from +310 to +300.

After coming up just short in Euro 2020, losing to Italy in the final, the Three Lions are looking to take the next step and finally end their major trophy drought. Make no mistake about it -- this squad has the perfect mix of talent, youth, and experience to lift win the tournament.

Led by young megastar Jude Bellingham and experienced striker Harry Kane, England went undefeated in qualifying -- including two victories over Italy by a combined score of 5-2.

England were drawn into Group C, which includes Denmark, Serbia, and Slovenia. Their first match will be against Serbia on June 16th, but their most important group stage fixture will be their clash with Denmark on June 20th.

Until England finally win a major trophy, doubt will always be there for this side, but they have been one of the best teams in the world for at least half a decade and are deserving favorites to win Euro 2024 this summer.

France (+380)

France's odds to win have also shortened since our last update -- from +430 to +380.

Led by arguably the best player in the world in Kylian Mbappe, France are in the middle of a golden era that included a World Cup win in 2018 and a runner-up finish in 2022. Their path to the final in 2022 included a 2-1 win over England.

France were also undefeated in qualifying for this summer's Euros, with their most notable results including two wins over the Netherlands by a combined score of 6-1.

They will face that same Netherlands side in Euro 2024 after they were drawn together into Group D, which also includes Austria and Poland.

France has a more difficult group than England does, but they are more than capable of overcoming it and will like their chances against any anyone in the knockout stages.

The Blues open their tournament against Austria on June 17th before a crucial clash with the Netherlands on June 21st.

Germany (+500)

Germany are looking to use their position as hosts of Euro 2024 to turn a page and begin a new era after several disappointing results at major tournaments, including group-stage exits in both the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.

Germany hasn’t been to the quarterfinals of a major tournament since Euro 2016 -- for a country with Germany's record of success, that is almost unfathomable.

Unlike the two sides ahead of them on the odds table, Germany can't win Euro 2024 without significant improvement from their recent results. They did not take part in qualifying, but their most recent friendlies -- wins over France (2-0) and the Netherlands (2-1) -- showed signs of improvement.

Friendlies against Ukraine and Greece in early June will provide a final look at the hosts before they open the tournament against Scotland on June 14th.

Drawn into Group A -- which includes Switzerland, Hungry, and Scotland -- Germany will have a chance to ease into the tournament without having to face another true contender in the group stage.

Spain (+800)

After Germany, there is a slight tier break before we arrive at Spain, whose odds have lengthened slightly since our last update -- from +750 to +800.

La Roja is still trying to recapture the highs their golden generation reached in 2008-2012, which included victories at Euro 2008 and 2012 and the 2010 World Cup. There's been a drop-off since then, but Spain is always a threat -- they have been eliminated on penalties in each of their last three major tournaments. La Roja benefited from an easy qualifying group, but Spain did drop a game, a 2-0 loss to Scotland.

Part of the reason for Spain's longer odds is their place in Group B, which includes Croatia, Italy, and Albania. It is the only group to feature three teams ranked inside the top nine in the tourney's outright winner odds and has the appearance of a Group of Death.

Spain will not be able to afford a slow start -- they open their tournament against Croatia on June 15th before facing Italy on June 20th.

They face a difficult path, but Spain are certainly capable of walking it.
