5 College Basketball Games to Watch This Weekend: Michigan State Visits Wisconsin

Who’s ready for a great weekend?
Check below for our list of five games to watch this weekend in college basketball.
In no particular order:
College Basketball Games to Watch
Michigan State at Wisconsin (Friday)
The best offensive team of the Greg Gard era matches up with a program that loves to get out on the break. Should we expect a shootout on a Friday in January at the Kohl Center? Don't rule it out of the realm of possibility.
Keep an eye on Michigan State's Tre Holloman, who has quietly emerged as a key utility piece for the Spartans. When Holloman scores six or more points, Tom Izzo's team is 9-0.
Kansas at Iowa State (Saturday)
The Cyclones are a perfect 12-0 at Hilton Coliseum this season, and that could be bad news for the Jayhawks, who do not possess any type of consistent depth. In Monday night's win over Cincinnati at Allen Fieldhouse, Kansas didn't have a single made field goal from any of its reserves.
Clemson at Duke (Saturday)
Is Clemson a lock to play in the NCAA Tournament? A win on Saturday over the Blue Devils may cement a bid unless the Tigers truly went off the rails the rest of the way. Remember: Brad Brownell's team already owns wins over South Carolina, TCU (neutral), and Alabama (road) on its resume.
Dayton at Richmond (Saturday)
This is the first time all season that a matchup from the Atlantic 10 has made the cut. It's for good reason. Both the Flyers and Spiders are currently perfect in league play, setting up a colossal showdown on Saturday night.
Keep an eye Dayton's DaRon Holmes II (19.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.2 blocks), who's having an All-American caliber season.
Xavier at UConn (Sunday)
Sean Miller is getting every single ounce he can out of the Musketeers, who lost their two projected frontcourt starters -- Jerome Hunter (heart) and Zach Freemantle (foot) -- for the year due to injuries. The weight-class gets raised on Sunday at the XL Center. Look for UConn to have a decisive advantage inside against Xavier's youth up front. A big day could be ahead for both Donovan Clingan and Samson Johnson.
