5 College Basketball Games to Watch This Weekend: Here Comes Arch Madness

This is March!

Check below for our list of games to watch this weekend.

In no particular order:

College Basketball Games to Watch

Arch Madness (Friday-Sunday)

The Missouri Valley Conference Tournament is one of the most underrated conference tournaments in college basketball.

While crazy things always happen in March, all eyes are on a potential rubber match in a possible Sunday title game between Drake and Indiana State. The winner of that game will be a trendy pick to pull an upset in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Creighton at Villanova (Saturday)

The Jays have cemented themselves as an NCAA Tournament team while the Wildcats have not, with 'Nova currently listed at -188 odds to make the NCAA Tournament, per FanDuel Sportsbook's college basketball odds.

This is a "win and in" type situation for Villanova. There's no way that this team will miss March Madness if it has a sweep of Creighton and a neutral-site win over North Carolina on its resume.

Kentucky at Tennessee (Saturday)

Rick Barnes' squad clinched the SEC regular season title via Wednesday night's win at South Carolina, but the chase for a number-one seed remains a priority.

It will be interesting to see how the Vols -- who have the fourth-shortest odds to make the Final Four (+210) -- try to contain the Wildcats' offense, which has scored 100 or more points six times this season.

UConn at Providence (Saturday)

Amica Mutual Pavilion is one of college basketball's best venues, and it should be at peak level on Saturday night.

The Friars have already beaten Creighton, Marquette, and Wisconsin at home this season -- adding UConn to that list will almost certainly put them right back into the NCAA Tournament picture. They're sporting +280 odds to make the NCAA Tournament as of Thursday.

New Mexico at Utah State (Saturday)

If the Lobos win this game and UNLV wins the Mountain West Tournament next week in Las Vegas, then the Mountain West will likely have seven teams in the NCAA Tournament.

Anarchy? Nope. Just college basketball.

A win by the Aggies in this one would give Utah State its first-ever outright Mountain West regular-season title.

This is a "win and in" type scenario for New Mexico, a team showing -162 odds to make the NCAA Tournament as of Thursday.
