4 FanDuel NFL Studs to Target in Week 11

Hitting on high-salary players is the first step to having success in daily fantasy football on FanDuel.

These players take up the biggest chunk of your salary cap, and they need to deliver quality performances for your lineup to reach its ceiling.

Here are four studs to target on this week's main slate.

All betting odds come from the NFL odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Kyler Murray, QB, Arizona Cardinals

FanDuel Salary: $7,600

Is it too soon to go all in on Kyler Murray? After his debut last week, it doesn't look like it.

It wasn't a flawless start to Murray's 2023 season, but it checked off the boxes that we were looking for. The Arizona Cardinals were pushed forward by Murray last week when he went 19-for-32, throwing for 249 passing yards and an interception.

Where he did his damage was on the ground, rushing for 33 yards and a score. That's the Murray we remember, and it translated to 18.3 FanDuel points overall.

Arizona will be taking on the Houston Texans this weekend in a matchup that should allow Murray to deliver big time. The Texans are allowing 18.3 FanDuel points per game to quarterbacks. Passers are averaging 261.0 passing yards and 1.0 touchdowns against Houston, giving Murray the upside to produce through the air and on the ground.

With Josh Allen struggling and facing the New York Jets, we're far more comfortable siding with Murray as the key stud. numberFire's model has him projected to finish with 20.0 FanDuel points on Sunday.

Austin Ekeler, RB, Los Angeles Chargers

FanDuel Salary: $8,800

2023 has been a bumpy season for Austin Ekeler.

The Los Angeles Chargers running back missed three weeks of action due to injury after a dynamic Week 1 performance. It's taken a while for him to get back into the touchdown-scoring form we've grown used to from him, but as we've seen the last three weeks, he's back.

Ekeler has scored in all three contests, totaling four over the stretch. Justin Herbert is also leaning on him in the passing game once again with seven-plus targets in each of the last three weeks, as well. Those targets have translated to a 20.8% target market share for L.A.

These last three games have been the best of Ekeler, and it's likely what we should be seeing against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

Green Bay has proven that they can be beat by running backs, allowing the seventh-most FanDuel points on a per game basis (22.3). Running backs are averaging 105.9 rush yards and 5.4 receptions per game against the Pack, playing to the strengths of Ekeler in every way.

After averaging 20.4 FanDuel points in his last three games, Ekeler is the stud you want.

He is numberFire's No. 2 running back this weekend behind Christian McCaffrey, projecting the Chargers' back for 17.7 FanDuel points.

Tyreek Hill, WR, Miami Dolphins

FanDuel Salary: $9,800

Coming off the bye week and an underwhelming showing against his old team, Tyreek Hill should be in a ton of lineups.

Hill is on a historic pace with 1,076 receiving yards in just 9 games. His goal was to be the first receiver in NFL history to hit 2,000 yards in a season, so he needs some huge performances to make it happen. Let's start this week against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Raiders have, surprisingly, contained opposing wideouts through the first 10 weeks of the season. They're only allowing 23.6 FanDuel points to the position. With that said, Amon-Ra St. Brown carved them up three weeks ago for over 100 yards on 6 receptions, and Garrett Wilson had 9 catches for 93 yards last week. It's still not too difficult to beat them, and Hill should be the one to test that this weekend.

Hill has insane stats up and down the board, averaging 121.4 scrimmage yards per game along with a 32.1% target market share and 44.4% air yards share. It feels like forever since we've seen one of the signature Tua Tagovailoa deep balls to Hill, so expect them to go deep the moment the opportunity presents itself.

numberFire's model believes in a big game from Hill, projecting him for 19.6 FanDuel points -- the most of any wide receiver on the slate.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, Detroit Lions

FanDuel Salary: $8,900

After picking him as a stud last week, it only feels right to ride the hot wave that Amon-Ra St. Brown has been on.

"The Sun God" came through huge with one of the best games of his career in Week 10, finishing with 8 receptions for 156 receiving yards and a touchdown -- but that has really been St. Brown all season long. Jared Goff's favorite target has been demanding the ball for a reason.

The Lions leading receiver is averaging 8.1 receptions a game on 10.9 targets. Those receptions have turned into an average of 102.6 receiving yards, producing a 31.2% target share and 34.6% air yards share. While the Lions run the ball a lot in the red zone, St. Brown still is heavily involved with 34.3% of their looks inside the 20.

Everything is elite for St. Brown, who is a must-start stud once again this week against the Chicago Bears.

Chicago is in the middle of the pack defensively against wide receivers. They rank 17th in allowed FanDuel points per game to the position (27.5). The best game against the Bears this season came from Mike Evans in Week 2; he finished with 171 yards on 6 receptions with a touchdown. Chris Olave also finished with 6 receptions, 46 yards, and a touchdown just two weeks ago, so it should be no problem for St. Brown to finish somewhere between these two.

Four straight games of 6-plus receptions and 100-plus yards shouldn't be coming to an end against the lowly Bears D. St. Brown is projected to the second-best receiver this week behind Hill, per numberFire, with 17.2 FanDuel points.
