Player props can be useful in a variety of ways -- from taking advantage of them straight up to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy football on FanDuel. Here, we're going to focus on the former.

Utilizing numberFire's projections as a guide, here are some NFL player props bets that look appealing.

Please note that betting lines and numberFire's game projections may change throughout the day after this article is published. Also, the weather may be an issue in some locations.

Tyreek Hill Over 7.5 Receptions (+106)

With a massive 30.00 implied team total, the Miami Dolphins are expected to pour on the points tonight against the Tennessee Titans.

Tyreek Hill leads the NFL with 1,481 receiving yards and 12 receiving touchdowns, and he has the fourth-most (93) receptions. Hill has discussed wanting to reach 2.000 receiving yards on the season to set an NFL record, but the wide receiver triple crown is also in play.

Leading the NFL in yards, receptions, and touchdowns isn't easy, but Hill is only 15 receptions behind the lead. His receiving yards prop is all the way up at 112.5, and I have no interest there. The line is accurate, but the value sits with over 7.4 receptions.

Yes, I'm buying into a bit of the narrative that he will push for the wide receiver triple crown. Hill has hit over 7.5 receptions in eight of his 12 games this season or 66.7% of the time.

The matchup against the Titans' secondary is an easy one, as they've allowed the 10th-most (2,154) receiving yards and the sixth-most receptions (175).

Hill leads the team with a 32.5% target share, 44.2% air yard share, and 32.1% red zone target share. He's their number-one option and should see the ball early and often tonight, which won't be a surprise to anyone.

Tyjae Spears Over 14.5 Receiving yards (-110)

As big 13.5-point underdogs, the Titans should be playing from behind and forced into a passing game script.

When we look at the Titans' offense, we want to focus on just the games since Will Levis took over as the starting quarterback. These last six games should give us the most accurate sample size for a player's role and usage.

That leads us to Tyjae Spears, who comes in with a 14.6% target share in the last six games, which is the third-highest on the team. Spears is also playing on 53.8% of the snaps while running a route on 48.0% of dropbacks. Spears also has a -1.9 average depth of target (aDOT), which means Levis is targeting him behind the line of scrimmage for easy checkdowns.

The Dolphins have a 26.7% quarterback pressure rate, which is the second-highest in the league. This should put Levis in a spot where he needs to get the ball out quickly, and Spears should be a beneficiary of that.

This directly correlates with the next prop.

Derrick Henry Under 8.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

If the Titans are playing from behind, Derrick Henry won't have a massive role in the offense.

As noted above, the game script could be very clear for the Titans, and that will force them into a passing game plan. Henry is not the pass-catching running back for the Titans -- it's that simple.

Over the last six games, Henry is playing on 52.5% of the snaps, running a route on 30.4% of dropbacks, and has an 8.4% target share.

That's right, Henry is playing on fewer snaps compared to Spears over the last six weeks and simply isn't being utilized in the passing game.

Henry's role for the Titans is very clear, and when the game script gets away from that, he won't be a factor.
