Player props can be useful in a variety of ways -- from taking advantage of them straight up to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy basketball on FanDuel. Here, we're going to focus on the former.

Using FanDuel Research's daily basketball projections -- which are powered by numberFire -- as a guide, here are some NBA player prop bets that look appealing via the NBA odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.

NBA Prop Bets

Donte Divincenzo Over 22.5 Pts + Reb (-104)

The New York Knicks met up with the Philadelphia 76ers this past Sunday for a game that culminated in a 79-73 score, good for the ugliest NBA game we've seen this season.

The Knicks shot 32.5% from the field and 22.5% from behind the arc in this game, and now, New York and Philly will run it back tonight.

I expect the Knicks, and namely Donte DiVincenzo, to come out very strong following Sunday's doozy.

DiVincenzo has been one of many Knicks players who have stepped up in a big way since Julius Randle went down with an injury.

Since Randle has been out, DiVincenzo is averaging 26.7 combined points and rebounds (PR) and has eclipsed 22.5 PR in 12 out of 17 games.

Despite the Knicks putting up only 73 points on Sunday, DiVincenzo still managed to record 24.0 PR. This is in part thanks to the Sixers surrendering the fourth-most points and the fourth-most rebounds to guards since Joel Embiid has been sidelined.

In this same span, Philadelphia has let up the most free-throw attempts and the fifth-most three-point makes (3PM) to guards. DiVincenzo nets 67.7% of his points from behind the arc and shoots the three-ball at a solid 40.0% clip.

DiVincenzo has been playing 36.3 minutes per game since the All-Star break. This paired with a friendly matchup makes over 22.5 PR fairly enticing.

Kyle Kuzma Under 36.5 Pts + Reb + Ast (-108)

Kyle Kuzma has been on a scorcher as of late, but I think the market may have made too bold of an adjustment on his combined points, rebounds, and assists (PRA) line.

On the season, Kuzma is averaging 33.3 PRA.

He has recorded under 36.5 PRA in 41 of his 62 games this year. This means he is hitting today's under at a 66.1% clip, but these -108 odds suggest just a 51.9% probability.

Kuzma and the Washington Wizards will take on the Memphis Grizzlies. To put it simply, these two teams are bad. If you combined their current win totals, it still wouldn't be enough to claim a play-in spot in the Western Conference.

But while this game should be ugly, and neither defense is worth bragging about, I don't think Kuzma is primed to mow through Memphis.

Washington plays at the fastest pace in the NBA. The Grizzlies, meanwhile, play at the 12th-slowest pace. And over their last 15 games, Memphis has played at the league's sixth-slowest pace.

The Wizards should be forced into a more leisurely tempo tonight. Historically, this is not great news for Kuzma's PRA numbers. He has recorded under 36.5 PRA in 14 out of 20 games against teams that rank in the bottom 10 of pace. Look for Kuzma to stop short of this number once again.

Brice Sensabaugh Over 14.5 Pts + Reb (-111)

If you're strictly an NBA fan you may be wondering who Brice Sensabaugh is. The former Ohio State Buckeye has suited up for just 14 games in his young NBA career, seeing just 167 minutes on the court in that time.

But since the Utah Jazz are missing both Lauri Markkanen and Taylor Hendricks, Sensabaugh has stepped into a starting role. It's early, but he's shown great signs with this new opportunity.

Sensabaugh is averaging 22.5 PR (18 and 27 PR) off of 31.0 minutes in two games started for the Jazz. Utah's depth chart is thin, so we should expect his high usage to stick in tonight's contest against the Boston Celtics.

The Celtics will be playing the second leg of a back-to-back on the road. Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingis, and Al Horford are all out for the C's, so it's looking like Boston will clear their bench and just see what happens in this somewhat unimportant game.

This is great news for Sensabaugh. Our projections have him down to play 30.19 minutes tonight, and with Boston's three best bigs out, he'll get to go up against the benchwarmers.

Utah ranks 9th in pace, while the Celtics rank 18th. But given Boston's injury report and the circumstances of this second leg, I wouldn't be surprised if the Jazz control the pace of this game.

FanDuel Research's projections have Sensabaugh tapped for 16.9 PR this evening.
