Player props can be useful in a variety of ways -- from taking advantage of them straight up to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy baseball on FanDuel. Here, we're going to focus on the former.

Utilizing our projections -- which are powered by numberFire -- as a guide, here are some MLB player props bets that look appealing via the MLB odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Please note that betting lines and projections may change throughout the day after this article is published. Also, the weather may be an issue in some locations.

MLB Player Props

Royce Lewis to Record an RBI (+100)

Royce Lewis really hasn't slowed down at the plate this season, but coming off two hitless games, I like him to get back on the board and Record an RBI (+100) tonight.

The third baseman has established himself as one of baseball's best hitters, currently sporting a .490 wOBA, .329 average, and smacking 10 home runs.

While he has all those home runs, his RBIs sit at 14 through 25 games. Hitting third in the Minnesota Twins lineup gives him all the chances to come through today -- especially with the matchup being a strong one tonight.

Minnesota has a solid 4.65 implied total, per numberFire's heat map, against the Arizona Diamondbacks and their starting pitcher Ryne Nelson.

Nelson has struggled in 13 games (12 starts), pitching to a 5.18 ERA, 4.67 SIERA, and 4.52 FIP.

The righty allowed only two runs in his last start, but they came on two home runs. There's offense to be had against Nelson, as shown by his 1.26 HR/9 and 1.51 WHIP.

Fire up with Lewis tonight and consider Lewis To Hit a Home Run (+320), too.

Aaron Judge to Record 2+ Total Bases (-120)

The Subway Series opened up with a big 9-7 game on Tuesday, and I'm looking for the offense to continue in tonight's contest.

With that, I'm honing in on the best bat in the series (and perhaps the league) by picking Aaron Judge to Record 2+ Total Bases (-120).

The New York Yankees enter tonight with a 4.52 implied total against Sean Manaea and the New York Mets.

Manaea has a 4.16 ERA and a 4.12 SIERA -- his worst since 2018. The southpaw is watching hitters lift the ball against him at a strong rate, entering tonight with a 44.9% fly-ball rate.

That brings us to Judge, who has slugged at a rate that has been unmatchable by anyone in the majors. Judge leads all hitters with a .467 wOBA, 29 home runs, .396 ISO, and 1.128 OPS. I'm looking toward his extra-base hits, which sit at 52 total with his 29 long balls and 23 doubles.

Against lefties, Judge has a .464 wOBA, .373 ISO, 1.113 OPS, and 209 wRC+. His 49.2% fly-ball rate and 50.8% hard-hit rate should play perfectly against Manaea, also.

It's not tough to get behind Judge, and he's in a spot to go big tonight.

David Hamilton to Record 2+ Total Bases (+115)

David Hamilton has had an incredible turnaround this season, and it's time we get in on it. In a great matchup, I like Hamilton to Record 2+ Total Bases (+115).

The Boston Red Sox have the best implied total of the day by a sizable amount at 5.20, taking on the Toronto Blue Jays and floundering starter Yariel Rodriguez.

Rodriguez has made five starts for the Blue Jays, putting together a 5.94 ERA and 4.93 SIERA. He's pitched only 16 2/3 innings in his starts, with his last outing lasting just 1 1/3 innings as Rodriguez allowed five runs (four earned).

The shortcomings of the 27-year-old starting pitcher bring us to running with Hamilton tonight, who has been near elite in the last two months.

Hamilton has been hitting .305 since May 1st with a .364 wOBA, .186 ISO, and .841 OPS. The shortstop has moved up to No. 2 in the Red Sox order, giving him more than enough chances at the plate tonight to make things happen.

Our projections like Hamilton tonight, as he's projected to be the second-best performer at the position on the main slate.
