Player props can be useful in a variety of ways -- from taking advantage of them straight up to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy baseball on FanDuel. Here, we're going to focus on the former.

Utilizing numberFire's projections as a guide, here are some MLB player props bets that look appealing.

Please note that betting lines and numberFire's game projections may change throughout the day after this article is published. Also, the weather may be an issue in some locations.

Gunnar Henderson To Hit a Home Run (+400)

With a 5.34 implied run total, the Baltimore Orioles are expected to put some runs on the board tonight.

The Orioles have one of the best offenses in the league and with power up and down their lineup, they are always a threat for some homers.

Tonight, they are going up against Michael Kopech, who allows a .438 SLG, .345 wOBA, 5.55 xFIP, 1.88 HR/9, 49.3% fly-ball rate, and 36.7% hard-contact rate versus left-handed hitters this season.

This leads us to Gunnar Henderson, who is en route to the AL Rookie of the Year and has plenty of power. He's rocking a 133 wRC+, .362 wOBA, .273 ISO, 37.3% fly-ball rate, and 46.4% hard-contact rate versus right-handed pitchers.

I love everything about this matchup for Henderson, so I'll add Henderson To Record an RBI (+125), too.

Bryan Woo Under 6.5 Strikeouts (-118)

Bryan Woo is a solid pitcher for the Seattle Mariners but tonight is about under 6.5 strikeouts.

Woo comes in with a 25.3% strikeout rate and 12.3% swinging-strike rate, which are certainly solid, but there's more to consider.

Since the All-Star break, Woo has six starts under his belt, and he's been over 90 pitches just a single time. Yes, the matchup against the Oakland Athletics is a favorable one, with their 25.2% strikeout rate versus right-handed pitchers.

However, with Woo's limited pitch count, he may not have the time to pick up a ton of strikeouts. The matchup is a good one, but one misstep with efficiency, and Woo won't be in a spot to rack up seven strikeouts. The under is the way to go tonight.

Cody Bellinger To Record an RBI (+125)

The Chicago Cubs have a solid 4.65 implied run total tonight and a great matchup to flex their offense.

The visiting Milwaukee Brewers will have Wade Miley on the mound, a pitcher we simply don't need to be worried about.

Miley comes in allowing a .368 SLG, .291 BABIP, 0.92 HR/9, 23.2% strikeout rate, and 35.7% fly-ball rate versus left-handed hitters. Miley is just a smidge above the league average (22.5%) strikeout in this split and gets hit around a decent amount.

We'll turn to Cody Bellinger, who is actually elite in this split despite it being a lefty versus lefty matchup. He's rocking a 167 wRC+, .418 wOBA, .242 ISO, .363 BABIP, and 42.4% fly-ball rate versus southpaws.

It's a great matchup and Bellinger is hot at the plate right now.
