Baseball has you covered if you want a large inventory of options to bet.

From moneylines to run totals to first-five-inning wagers, we have plenty of ways to bet the long, arduous MLB schedule daily. Outlooks can be vastly different due to starting pitchers, and a wealth of advanced stats can let us know if an individual pitcher, a bullpen, or a team is due for positive -- or negative -- regression.

Using numberFire's projections as a guide, which MLB odds from FanDuel Sportsbook are most appealing today?

MLB Betting Picks

New York Mets at Texas Rangers, 8:05 p.m. ET

Mets Moneyline (-116)

Entering Tuesday, the New York Mets (34-37) are the hottest team in baseball. Currently riding a six-game winning streak, the Metropolitans are set for Game 2 with the Texas Rangers (33-39).

Notably, New York's National League franchise has not lost since Grimace threw out the ceremonial first pitch at Citi Field on June 3rd. In their most recent showing, the Mets shellacked the Rangers by a score of 14-2.

Tuesday's projected starters are righties Luis Severino and Michael Lorenzen. Both pitchers have tossed over 65.0 innings in 2024, but Severino's 4.41 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) is superior to Lorenzen's 4.91 SIERA.

It is tough to bet against the Mets at this current moment, and with their -116 moneyline odds tonight, I see value in New York winning their seventh straight contest. With NYM scoring 7.5 runs per game on this streak, I think they continue to roll at Globe Life Field.

Los Angeles Dodgers at Colorado Rockies, 8:40 p.m. ET

Over 11.0 Runs (-105)

As expected, the Los Angeles Dodgers (45-29) put on quite a show at Coors Field on Monday, churning out 9 runs on 14 hits. Now that Tuesday has arrived, can the Colorado Rockies (25-47) offer better results?

The probable pitchers in Denver this evening are Walker Buehler and lefty Austin Gomber. Transparently, neither hurler has enjoyed much success this season. Buehler -- who returned from Tommy John surgery in 2024 -- is tagged with a 5.55 FIP. Meanwhile, Gomber owns a 4.93 FIP.

Given this pitching matchup in the Mile High (Coors carries a 112 Park Factor score), I am targeting over 11.0 runs for -105 odds at FanDuel Sportsbook. Let's remember that, even without Mookie Betts (hand), the Dodgers are a top offense in MLB.

As a team, Los Angeles carries the best OPS (.774) in baseball. From there, they've scored 367 runs, which is currently the highest total on the Senior Circuit. Simply, the Dodgers at Coors Field is like putting a keg of gunpowder next to a raging fireplace.

numberFire is in strong support of over 11 runs here. Per their game projection model, Los Angeles is estimated to defeat the Rox by a score of 7.50-5.63, which equates to a 62.97% winning likelihood for over bettors.

Kansas City Royals at Oakland Athletics, 9:40 p.m. ET

Over 8.0 Runs (-110)

After a night off, the Kansas City Royals (41-32) and Oakland Athletics (26-48) will get together in the East Bay. As our latest game on Tuesday's slate, what's the best betting angle here?

On the mound, expect to see Alec Marsh and southpaw Hogan Harris at the Oakland Coliseum. In 2024, Marsh has compiled a 4.47 xERA so far. Across the way, Harris shows a less-than-flattering 4.57 FIP.

With the total for this contest set at just eight runs, I like the over (-110 odds) here. numberFire's MLB game projections also support over 8.0, anticipating 8.64 runs tonight.

The Royals have been a solid offensive ball club this season. Entering Tuesday, Kansas City boasts a .717 team OPS, which is in the better half of MLB. From there, K.C. has plated 4.81 runs per game in 2024.

The A's are, obviously, not the most prolific offense, but I think they can contribute enough here to eclipse eight combined runs. Considering that the Royals have mashed lefty pitching -- like Oakland's Harris -- for a .734 OPS in 2024, I feel more than comfortable with the over.
