Home Run Props

Jake Cronenworth To Hit a Home Run (+600)

The San Diego Padres have a 4.00 implied run total tonight and a matchup worth targeting.

They are at home to take on the Cincinnati Reds, who will have Nick Martinez on the bump tonight. This season, Martinez has allowed a .481 SLG, .357 wOBA, 5.10 xFIP, 1.35 HR/9, and 47.8% fly-ball rate versus left-handed hitters.

This brings me to Jake Cronenworth, who is crushing righties this season with a 164 wRC+, .404 wOBA, .238 ISO, 34.3% fly-ball rate, and 32.9% hard-contact rate. We've seen all four of his homers this season come via right-handed pitchers, making this the split to target.

It's a great matchup all around so I'll add Croneworth To Record an RBI (+155), too.

Eduardo Julien To Hit a Home Run (+520)

With some serious pop, Edouard Julien can put one over the fence tonight for the Minnesota Twins.

The Twins have a 4.72 implied run total against Mike Soroka, who simply doesn't have it all together on the mound for the Chicago White Sox.

This season, Soroka has allowed a .50 SLG, .402 wOBA, 6.76 xFIP, 1.88 HR/9, and 37.3% fly-ball rate versus left-handed hitters. It's been a rough few years for Soroka and the 2024 season isn't off to a good start.

We turn to Julien, who has a whopping .301 ISO, 144 wRC+, 51.0% fly-ball rate, and 32.7% hard-contact rate versus right-handed pitchers. That is a ton of power and will always put him in a spot for a homer versus righties, so I'll add Julien To Record an RBI (+175), too.

Willy Adames To Hit a Home Run (+420)

Finally, we look to Willy Adames of the Milwaukee Brewers for a homer.

A strong matchup against Tyler Alexander puts a few of the Brewers' hitters in a good spot for some offense.

This year, Alexander has allowed a .537 SLG, .399 wOBA, 5.00 xFIP, 1.72 HR/9, 49.1% fly-ball rate, and 33.9% hard-contact rate versus right-handed hitters. That's a rough set of stats to see as a pitcher but very friendly when we're here to talk about the long ball.

Last season, Adames was solid versus lefties with a 109 wRC+, .335 wOBA, .179 ISO, 44.2% fly-ball rate, and 41.9% hard-contact rate. Hitting the 40-40 mark is great to see and puts Adames in a fantastic spot tonight.
