ARTFUL BROMAC (6) made a nice return at his latest appearance a week-and-a-half ago, finishing 4.5 metres away in second over 1 ¼m at Phar Lap Raceway. Has the talent to find the winners' list. BETTOR WAY (9) finished fifth last start, beaten 1.5 metres at this track over 1 ?m. Talented and has plenty of upside. Has ability and should be right in the finish. KOWHAI STAR (7) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win by 5.5 metres at Ashburton Raceway over 1 ¹/16m. SEASIDE POND (2) was not a factor last start but will be ready to peak third-up from a spell from a nice draw. Well worth a second look.
