AU - Oakbank - Race 3

IT'SANOTHERBATTLE (6) is a promising filly resuming for the Oxlades, having been a very smart debut winner back in October when leading throughout at Murray Bridge. Three sharp hit-outs suggest she's come on beautifully during the break and she'll take plenty of running down. SIR MYKA (2) should be peaking fourth-up, and the form around him continues to stack up. Had excuses last start as a beaten favourite but wasn't far away, and the drop back to a sprinting trip keeps him in the game. UPTOWN MONK (4) drops sharply in trip after folding in the Morphettville Guineas when favourite, and you'd expect a more conservative ride this time. CARPE ASTRA (5) finally broke through last start and is worth keeping safe for the minors.
