Verdict

SNALLYGASTER (3) had just the one run in his debut prep, sticking on gamely behind smart stablemate Virtual Illusion, and appears to have come on nicely during the break. He'll need luck from the car-park draw, but his race experience takes him a long way. Stablemate TRADE GAME (4) is a son of Hanseatic on debut who has progressed well in his lead-up work and should make his presence felt with Toeroek steering, though he too needs a clever ride from a sticky gate. BRAND HER BOLD (10) couldn't keep up with the smart Mathematician on debut but that's no fair task. Still did a good job to finish midfield. The subsequent form from the race has been good and she's trialled well in-between. Draws well and is a major player. JUXTAPOSE (13) was left with too much to do when resuming public elect at Murray Bridge but did warm nicely late. Drawn kinder second-up and has kept the legs ticking over with a trial between runs. Should be competitive.
