FLIRT (15) returns for the Bain & Taylor partnership and looks to have come back in terrific order, piecing together two sharp pieces of work in readiness. Holder sticks from his jumpout and a bright return is anticipated. ONE WHIM (4) makes his stable debut for the Hickmott camp and has been gelded during the break. His lead-up work suggests he's taken great improvement and can return with a bang. CAMOOWEAL GIRL (12) warmed nicely to her task late on debut at Murray Bridge and is sure to have come on with that run under her belt, though she'll need luck from the horror draw. Expect her to be charging late. BEL HOTESSE (7) continues to find the maiden win elusive but has runs scattered through her form that measure up. Draws well and is worth keeping safe.

A race with non-claiming conditions set by the racing secretary. They are meant to be a step down from stakes racing.

Fractions

The times recorded during the race; with timing starting just past the gate or when the gates open, then parroted for the quarter, half, three-quarters etc. Used as an indication of ability and speed.

Synthetic Surface

A racing surface comprised of silica sand and fibers, such as recycled carpet or spandex. The mixture is then sealed with wax.
