Competitive. RAVEN'S SILVER (6) has been racing well without winning and got to within 2.5 lengths over 1495 at Kyneton, his latest. Likes to position forward and has the blinkers applied for the first time. They may make the difference. CRYSTANADO (8) found more like his best beaten a half-length over 6 ½f at Geelong. Has a wide gate to manage, but has placed 3/3 this course and distance and with average luck can feature. SHOW OF GOLD (4) resumed in solid order and then positioned forward at Pakenham 54 days ago and was very poor late (vet cleared). Comes back several grades and placed in a recent Cranbourne jumpout. Draws low, and the 9lbs claim brings him into it. IT'S GNARLY (2) is fast and folded up on a wet track at Kyneton. Impressed winning his Maiden over 7f at Werribee prior and has a low gate and upside.
