Verdict

Look to be three key players here. BLING BABY (7) is a four-start maiden who resumed from a spell last start and was beaten 3.5 lengths when fifth over 7f at Pakenham. That was a good platform for this and suited up in trip. MONSUN'S PRIDE (3) showed good early dash last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed late to finish 1.3 lengths away in third over 7f at this track, where it can often be an advantage to be on-speed. Should be ready to 1m third-up. ENCHANTED LASS (9) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track over 1m. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run and Dan Stackhouse a big edge. PHANTOM'S CHASE (5) raced consistently last campaign and while most starts were in races longer than this, it looks a suitable kick-off after some solid jumpouts. DUNLEER LAD (1) will be better for the first-up run, suited up in trip and will appreciate firmer footing.
