Tough. THE MARINER (4) has had one blip in a string of threatening efforts. He will skip over and control the race and deserves another chance. SNAPPY TYCOON (1) has an awkward gate to contend with but will find this easier than Werribee last time. He raced favourite in a 62 at Kerang prior and lost the use of his offside rein at the business end when in a positive position. Chance to make amends. LUNA FIELD (3) is capable enough on her day and has the tongue tie applied for the first time. Will position forward and keep onside. RAGING MONKEY (10) may be the best of the remainder.
