Verdict

THE RED RHINO (7) has changed stables since his last start at Riccarton, where he gave him rather quickly. He will appreciate some one-on-one care, and he is nicely placed in this after a 7lbs claim. If ready, he can take this out at some good value. DAVID MOSS (1) needed his fresh-up run badly here nearly a month ago, and he might need this hit-out as well, but he meets a modest field, and his best would take him a long way to winning this. GENTLE BEN (2) has been mixing his form, and has a good record on this track. He has found the right race, and he is expected to bounce back into some form here. COCKAHOOP (3) was in good form earlier in the year, but has mixed his results since then. He cops a decent draw, and he is well worth including in all top 4 combos. ENDEAN AFFAIR (8) is proving to be hard to catch, but he is another in a race full of each-way chances, who can take this out if he is in the right mood.
