The visor blinkers go on, and if the tempo is genuine, then he can finish over the top of them all. MONAGHAN BOY (1) hit the line with purpose from a long way back over 6 ?f at Gore 11 days ago, and will be spot-on for first run over a mile this season. A wide gate is no help, but the 7lbs claim is. Stick with him, and follow your money. ELOISE (10) did not fire fresh up in her first run in the South Island. If she does not need this run as well, then she can figure in the top 3. Check for any market moves. PRETTY FLY (11) loomed large on the final turn at Ascot Park last time out and fought on gamely to hold onto third. She looks well placed again, and another honest effort is likely.
