TRANSONIC (7) is back from a break of four-and-a-half months and looks to be right up to the mark following a placing in a recent trial. Will have plenty of admirers, and with some luck from the draw, he is the one to beat. LESTER (13) brought some very good form to the table before the latest appearance when he finished 11 metres away in third over 1 ?m at Addington. Meets a comparable field and he should be hard to hold out again. FOLIEJON STAR (2) comes right into contention after scoring last start by 9 metres at Rangiora over 1 ?m. Now that the penny has dropped, he can go on with the job. SHEPHERDS DELIGHT (12) is in the mix after turning in a better effort last start to finish second at Addington over 1 ?m, and if he can get handy from a tricky gate, then he is worth including in all top 4 combos.
