SELSEY MAE (4) opened her career in pleasing fashion a week-and-a-half ago, finishing third over 1 7/16m at Mt Harding. Similar draw and is open to natural improvement so has winning claims. ICY STARS (9) turned in a poor effort by her standards last start but the form prior to that had been solid. Fourth from this row two back at Motukarara and was a close second at Oamaru prior so is worth another chance returning to the grass. CANDY CRUNCH (2) faces the starter for the first time.
