Verdict

BORNEO STAR (4) took a nice step forward last start, improving sharply to score by 2 lengths after travelling in the firing line throughout. This is a tougher assignment, but the manner of that win suggests he can repeat the dose. LUCKY WARRIOR (8) is a perennial placegetter with just one win from 26 starts, but he consistently puts himself in the race and wasn't disgraced when fifth over 5 ¾f last time. He's one of the likely each-way contenders again. BABY TWINS (6) bounced back to form last start when finishing second over 5 ¾f after looming strongly on the turn. That run reads well for this, and he looks nicely placed to take this out. GOLDEN DASH (5) resumes after ten months off and is worth keeping very safe. He placed first-up last prep over this trip and has shown enough ability to be a genuine threat fresh, especially if the money comes for him.
