EAGLE HANOVER (8) turned in a much better effort at her latest appearance, finishing second over 1 ?m at Taupo. Gives away ¼f at the handicap but with even luck she is a primary contender. MASS DISRUPTION (1) is back after a nearly seven-week let-up but has a couple of decent recent Alexandra Park efforts under the belt and should enjoy the favours from this starting position. SCOOTS (7) hasn't done a bad job to finish midfield in his last few outings and was runner-up the last time he raced here. VALENTINA SHEVCHENKO (2) is in the mix following some solid efforts including a fourth at her most recent appearance at Taupo.
