ALWAYS B SWEET (7) registered another strong performance last start when she came from a similar draw to this and battled on for second at Taupo, her third successive placing since a resuming win. Goes well at this distance with a win and two placings from three attempts. Big chance. The recent form of RAKERO LIGHTNING (2) may not leap off the page but she has had a series of either wide or second row barriers. Better served by this much more favourable draw and two of her three career wins have come at this distance. GENUINE IMITATION (4) has upside is open to further improvement at her third career start after coming from wider and getting home last time out at Hawera. The lone career win of FEAR THE DIVA (9) came at this circuit and distance. Respect.
